  2. Here's a bigger problem: human health.

    Transmitting energy by inducing resonance is old stuff, its called a microwave. Scientists have tried this technology in the past only to come up against the fact that this is like having an open-air microwave, which is not good for the goldfish in the next room.

    My Rant: It seems like everyday we have a story on slashdot about wireless energy, electric cars with 300 mile ranges, teleporting, cloning, or sending something back in time. Its nothing short of sensationalism, and promotes the waste of scientific funding.
