We ran out of wine, and then drank the wine that we found in the house, which I do believe was a rather dusty bottle of Reindeer Farms White Zinfandel from ~ 1987. A fine year for white Zin. I am not to sure, but I think we even drank a magnum of NY port wine that Chris brought up. I know we also had at the very least a magnum of merlot and ~ 13-15 other bottles.... at least. impressive.
Ah, now, that warms my heart.

ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine ever drinking like that again -- but it was a lot of fun when I could.
