Nah, we bought a bottle of red devil lye from the Mill for 200 pennies.The lye guy. What a great name. I do have to go see him, though, to get the special lye that makes liquid soap, so we can make the liquid lavendar castille soap for the kids.Future post I guess.
I'll also volunteer if any is left for testing. I figure I can't smell any worse, right?

Got the soap today. Looks and smells great. We will give it a go tomorrow in our newly painted bathroom.
We like it. The oatmeal bumps are fun--makes me feel as though more grunge is getting washed off. Thanks Somerlots.
