Anyone see any cool birds lately now that spring migration is starting to pick up?
Had a few white throated sparrows singing out in front of my office this week.
Baby ducks in the pond out back. Tis the season for heavy binocular use.

I had a bald eagle fly over the library while I was eating lunch the other day.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome Michael!! I was on my way to the car this morning and witnessed a crow attack a wren in her nest. The crow actually killed the "mother" (I am guessing) and started to eat her. Is this "normal"? I thought there would be a lot of other food around for the crow to eat. I was thinking that it was an easy way at the eggs in the nest. I have seen a crow eat baby bunnies. It was interesting to see nature working.
